ProLiteracy Worldwide
ProLiteracy Worldwide is developing the Learning Plans for our digital literacy project that will train volunteer and staff tutors to work with new-to-broadband youth and adults in public access computer centers. The combination of technology and onsite support from tutors will help youth and adults become digitally literate, develop access to broadband services and learn about career pathways opportunities available in their local communities.
ProLiteracy has extensive experience with tutor training and with helping community-based and volunteer organizations to develop effective basic skills programs for adults. The tutors in this project will support new-to-broadband users who will use Learning Plans developed by another project partner, the Minnesota Literacy Council.
